A new website for Whitby Friendship Amateur Rowing Club
Whitby Friendship Amateur Rowing Club needed a modern website that could bring its different activities together in one easy-to-use online space. I designed and built the new WordPress website from the ground up, providing clear information about rowing, membership, club events, venue hire and facilities, alongside a live webcam overlooking Whitby Harbour.

Whitby Friendship Amateur Rowing Club needed a website to bring all aspects of the club together in one place. The site needed to promote rowing, provide information about membership and events, showcase the bar and function room, and act as a useful resource for both members and visitors.

I designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website that reflects the club’s identity and community spirit. The website includes dedicated pages for rowing, membership and events, information about the bar and function room, a live harbour webcam, contact information and easy-to-manage content sections.
Mobile Friendly & Easy to Navigate
The site was also built to load quickly and perform seamlessly across mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers. This was particularly important as many visitors are likely to access the website while out and about, checking rowing times, viewing the harbour webcam or looking for information on upcoming events.
